In Portland, Oregon, the immersive Hopscotch experience is redefining how art and structure can work together. Known for its vibrant, interactive installations, the exhibit features glowing environments, dynamic lighting, and imaginative spaces that encourage exploration and play.
Unlike traditional construction, the creators of Hopscotch chose to leave the steel framing fully exposed. This design decision highlights the clean lines and modern profile of the SCAFCO steel studs supplied through CWallA, allowing the framing to interact directly with the lighting and visual effects throughout the exhibit. The structural elements become part of the artistic expression, adding depth and contrast to the creative environment.
The project showcases the versatility of SCAFCO products and demonstrates how framing materials can support both function and artistic vision. At Hopscotch, the structure is not hidden — it is celebrated as part of the experience.
