Construction is progressing on the future Redmond Recreation Center in Redmond, Oregon. This community-focused project is being framed with nearly 85,000 pounds of SCAFCO steel, forming the backbone of the new facility.

The build reflects strong collaboration across the board, with support from CWallA’s Eugene branch, expert engineering coordination, and longtime partner Western Partitions, Inc. Together, these teams are helping shape a space designed to serve Redmond residents for years to come.

Construction is progressing on the new Portland State University School of Art + Design, a 103,000-square-foot facility located in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon.

Led by Swinerton, the project is being framed with SCAFCO steel, supplied through CWallA. The building will feature flexible studios, classrooms, and critique spaces tailored to meet the evolving needs of PSU’s growing art and design programs.

Scheduled to open in 2026, the new facility will provide a dynamic, modern space that fosters creativity, collaboration, and innovation for the next generation of artists and designers.

Construction is underway on the new Springville Branch Library in Springville, CA, just outside of Fresno. Located a short distance from the original site, the upgraded facility will offer expanded access to books, digital media, and community resources.

The new 3,200-square-foot building adds over 1,000 square feet of space and is being framed by Superior Steel and AMG using structural steel from SCAFCO. Material delivery and support are being provided through CWallA. Once complete, the new library will provide the Springville community with a modern, accessible space for learning, connection, and growth.

In Post Falls, Idaho, construction is moving forward on a large two-story convenience store and fueling center at the Highway 41 Interchange. Originally designed with wood, the project shifted to cold-formed steel for added strength and long-term performance.

All Wall Contracting, Inc. is leading the framing using SCAFCO studs and joists, including 1000S250-68m roof joists, 550S162-54m exterior walls, and 350S162-54m interior studs. Materials are being supplied through CWallA, helping keep the project on schedule while maintaining the original design intent. This upgrade highlights the continued shift toward steel in high-traffic, high-demand builds.

Las Vegas is home to big builds, and the Tropical Speedway project is no exception. SCAFCO Steel Stud Company recently delivered a large-scale order of 8-inch, 54 mil, 40-foot-long studs to the jobsite—totaling over 600 feet of structural steel.

This industrial development required heavy-duty framing solutions, and SCAFCO’s cold-formed steel provided the strength and span needed for the job. Materials were supplied with support from CWallA, ensuring smooth logistics and delivery for this high-volume, fast-moving project in the heart of the desert.

Significant progress is being made in Visalia, California, where Advance Drywall is installing 1,000 linear feet of 48-foot-tall demising walls as part of a major industrial development.

The project is framed with SCAFCO steel and supplied through CWallA’s Fresno branch, reinforcing the speed and scale required for today’s growing warehouse and logistics market. This build reflects continued demand for flexible industrial space—and the framing solutions that keep it moving forward.

Work is underway on Holy Rosary Church in Woodland, CA, where Donohue Construction is blending craftsmanship and structural precision to bring this architectural vision to life. Designed with graceful arches and detailed lines, the church is being framed using SCAFCO’s Perfect Curve system—ideal for capturing the building’s refined form.

CWallA is providing material support throughout the project, ensuring a smooth build process from layout to lift. As construction continues, this sacred space is taking shape with a balance of tradition, innovation, and care.

Progress continues on the new terminal project at Napa County Airport in Napa, California. Led by Loya Pena Builders, this multi-level facility is part of a broader effort to expand airport infrastructure and improve service capacity in the region.

Framing for the terminal is being completed with SCAFCO steel, with reliable material supply and on-site support provided by CWallA. Once finished, the new facility will enhance the passenger experience and support continued growth at this key transportation hub.

Construction is progressing in Bozeman, Montana, where Dick Anderson Construction is combining mentorship and jobsite experience to train the next generation of builders. On this active jobsite, apprentices are gaining hands-on skills in cold-formed steel framing while contributing directly to the build.

SCAFCO steel studs are being used throughout the project, with material delivery and support provided by CWallA. A key fastener upgrade helped streamline plywood-to-steel installation, demonstrating how the right tools and on-site guidance can make a lasting impact.
