In 1972, 108 police officers moved into office space at Salem, Oregon’s City Hall. Today, there’s a new facility under construction to accommodate a police department comprising nearly 200 officers and over 50 staff members.
Expected to be complete in September of 2020, the new Salem Police Department building was designed by local firm CB | Two Architects, in conjunction with police design specialists DLR Group. Longtime CWallA client Western Partitions Inc is using SCAFCO Steel Stud Company studs to frame the project.
WPI Foreman Sean O’Neil appeared on a September episode of Building Buzz to discuss to project. That interview can be found below.
With the framing work well underway, Salem PD’s future home is starting to take shape!
